Really good food and service.

WARNING. Portions are huge! We couldn't eat everything we ordered, we were so full, but it was so delicious. We were able to order everything without cilantro. (Both my children can't eat cilantro.) The table next to us was celebrating a birthday. The staff came out and sang he "Happy Birthday", with guitar accompaniment. I'm going to bring my daughter here for her birthday.

Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. Go there.

Love love this place!!!!! They are very gluten friendly. The staff is always with a smile. Waitress was awesome and was aware of allergy options. Food was hot and portion size awesome. Definitely will be returning.

Steak fajita burrito was excellent. Beans and rice were just as good, as well as the margaritas. Service was attentive and food was promptly prepared.

Food was just okay. There were flies inside. They didn't know how to make a skinny margarita. Nothing worth coming back for.

It was a great place we went with the family, 2 of our daughters and their family together and they put us somewhere so we wouldnt bother anybody and we could talk and laugh. All the food was great and you really got alot of food. Nice place to sit and relax with the family.

The food was pretty good, but the service was terrible! they messed up my order 3 different times. I got to the point where I didn’t care anymore and i just ate it.

I don’t know why but I went (Feb 25, 2020 Monday) with my parents and daughter and every single one of them got very sick from the food. They were throwing up and had stomach issues. Thankfully I didn’t get sick because I didn’t order anything since I wasn’t hungry. Be careful!

I stopped here for lunch with my dad. We were seated right away. The waiter gave us menus and drinks promptly. It too a few minutes to get our order taken, but the food was made fresh and hot quite quickly. I'm sure I'll go back when I'm in Rockford.

My wife and I love this place. We always have great meals and the staff is friendly. My only bit of critique I would say (which still is not a negative to most people) is the food comes almost too fast. Regardless, Dos Reales is a great place to eat!

This is the fourth visit for lunch, we have tried something new each. All we can say is this is the best Mexican restaurant in the region. Well done, they make you feel like family.

Although there were people waiting, they assigned us a quick table, service was regular they do not bring all the sauces you have to ask for it, waiters only take your order and then a very rushed Boy carries your dishes, has no Sense!! Our waitress (soledad) ask: Everything ok? When you still don't try the food, the sauces are not good, the spicy tastes like Valentina's sauce, I do not recommend this restaurant.some employees are friendly others not

Always friendly staff. Your food usually comes up real fast. Love the roaming singer! Don't forget his top!

Food is good, large portions Margarita's were fantastic and strong, a good local spot to just relax and chill

I was there yesterday with some friends but i only had a little time. 3 different waitresses came to the table after we ordered so i wasnt able to stay but i hear it was good food

Went here for my birthday this year and enjoyed the service immensely. We had the house margaritas, frozen which even absent an upgrade like Don Julio or Patron was a delicious combination of lime, salt, ice, tequila and mix in perfect measure. I like traditional Mexican cuisine immensely and have had many authentic dishes here over the years. Today I had pollo chihuahua (chicken breast covered in a white, easy-melting Mexican cheese). It was excellent and more than I could eat. When my Aunt mentioned it was my Birthday, our server smiled and walked away. Later a collection of servers came to our table, put a sombrero on my head and serenaded me with a Spanish birthday song I had not heard before (and I know 2), and presented me with a deep fried flour tortilla sprinkled with cinnamon, sugar and a dollop of hand whipped cream. It was touching and soulful.

The only restaurant where my 3 year old cleans her plate! She gets the quesadilla kids plate, I get the vegetarian fajitas, and my husband gets the cheese steak burrito, they're all excellent! Service is fast, and friendly. Ask for Maria G, she's the best (but they're all great).

This restaurant is nice and roomy, the menu was enchanting and the rates were very affordable. quickly, productive service and very friendly staff. Will definitely recommend this place.

Great food and customer service goes above and beyond to meet my needs

Great Mexican food and quick service. Doesn't take long for the food to be prepared either and it's always very hot and fresh. Good prices on good drinks. If you like extra-hot hot sauce, ask your server and they'll give your some pretty hot stuff. The chimichanga de mariscos is recommended.

What a find! Plethora of tasty menu choices Best guacamole. Authentic flavor. Great drinks. Clean and wonderful service. Planning many a return visit. Yum.

Due to covid we expected some delays,b it took over an hour and a half to get my online order (2 meals). The staff is clearly not prepared for this. Also apparently online doesn't work well at all and it is better to call to place your order.

Really excellent highly recommended . I'm sad to say I've driven past for years and never ate there until today, but the food is incredible. Very fresh. Very authentic. Menu is huge, we will definitely be back.

The best Guacamole I've ever had especially here in Rockford

Everything we had tonight our group enjoyed. The service... EXCELLENT... food... TO DIE FOR... drinks... TOTALLY DELISH!!! My only personal criticism: the chicken was ever so slightly overdone. The cilantro is very fresh in every dish, and the fresh made guacamole can NOT be beat. We will be enjoying it again for sure.

Love there margaritas and guacamole! Best authentic Mexican food in Rockford!

We've ordered to go a couple times now. When you order to go you actually do not get as much food I believe. Especially the guacamole is smaller. The drinks are a good size though. The first time they forgot a few things. Thank goodness I checked my bag before we left. The tacos that were made soft were soggy. Now when we eat there everything is absolutely delicious. The service is great! I can't say enough about that establishment when you eat there. And yes they have outdoor eating right now for covid- 19.
